Discovery Space Season

Set of idents for the Discovery Space Season. Built all the scenes in Cinema 4D and After Effects at BDA. The logo was designed by Andrew Olley.
Family Guy Top 20

More titles for another documentary unveiling the top Family Guy characters. This time following a comic route. A “Family Guy Annual” was created to showcase the characters, then the flickbook effect seen was used throughout the programme in stings and chapterheads.

Hai Karate!

This CBBC series followed a group of children as they learnt Karate in Japan. The graphics are part of a kit of graphics that slot into the opening sequence. I designed the titles using green screen footage from Japan, combined with Cinema 4D and After Effects. All graphics were delivered in HD.
Eastenders Revealed

The BBC Three series of documentaries that follow the big Eastenders storylines needed a new look, which is this. The whole thing is designed to look like a model of the set. The model was made in Cinema 4D with all the footage composited in After Effects. I’ve also tagged onto the end a boardgame I designed for the programme graphics.
There’s more about the model here
One Man and His Dog

One Man and His Dog makes a comeback, and I learnt a lot about something I previously knew very very little about. A great project to be involved in. I designed, directed, and composited these titles, which included location shooting and green screen, all delivered in HD.
Transmission Impossible

I thought it would be interesting to put up some frames from the original pitch board for
Transmission Impossible. If you click on the pics you can see that a few ideas and designs changed during the development. It was felt the logo was too similar to another show, and also the nature of the sequence was bound to change to do with the footage we had, and the green screen footage we shot (I didn’t realise a cactus can’t do a high five!). The final titles are in the project section here.
